To celebrate the Meisterstück Centenary in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of the iconic writing instruments in a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. Coincidentally, 1924 marks both the launch of the writing instrument that became one of Montblanc’s most coveted masterpieces and the first Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc. At their heart, both Montblanc and the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games embody the pursuit of the best possible human achievement, through master craftsmen and sporting heroes. The Classique edition is crafted from precious blue-grey resin, reminiscent of the official colour chosen for the Winter Olympic Games. The Olympic rings are part of the traditional Olympic logo, engraved on the cap top ring framed by a laurel wreath, reminiscent of those offered to the best performing Olympic winners in ancient times. The cap is engraved with the words "Olympic Games Chamonix 1924" within a frame inspired by the cover of the official Olympic Games articles. The cap ring bears both "1924" and "2024", emblematic of the importance of both years.
